@Checker: Hope you're OK, can't remember the last time you didn't update any of the last 50 entries!

@billon: Thank you!

@All: I'm alive and well ... taking a little break :wink:
Some private projects need all my time presently.

@billon: Don't be afraid. That's only "I am Baas"-humor :wink:
You're doing a great job :!:

If you look back through this thread, you'll see that Checker did a great deal for this site for many years, which billon has been kind enough to take over on. I know he hasn't been tracking his update work in the same way that Checker did, but the software updates are the life blood of the work here and are very important to address broad issues of reliability, both in software security and redundancy, communicating bug fixes and finding identifying a mirror when a program/site goes offline.

Since my availability is usually limited to weekends, the update process is not something I could take over from him without having some real delays. As it stands we usually catch updates that other sites miss (sometimes by multiple weeks), which is a big part of our search engine rankings.

Some very nice members said quite a few thanks recently but I just wanted to add one more. Thanks billon.

Thanks. I can't speak for anyone else, but I've gained way more from my work on the site over time than I've put in.

Actually efforts here helped with my career, greatly improved my understanding of collaboration, and gave me a broader understanding of software and tech. Also, when real life is going poorly, it's something of an oasis to have a project that people actually care about and use.
