Patience

#1 Post by JohnW »

This is in the nature of an experiment!
I came across the following recently -

Patience game by David Mayne (Version 1.01) on ...
http://www.davidmayne.co.uk/free.htm

Free Patience / Solitaire game for Windows with games including Klondike, Freecell, Spider, Yukon and over 200 others.

It's a nice implementation. I extracted using Universal Extractor and then tried this Regshot that you guys keep referring to.
It came up with one change - something to do with Microsoft/Cryptography. How weird is that!
Anyway, would like to know if it passes the test.

Those are changes that happen very frequently and most likely have nothing to do with the program in question.

I removed a few changes to my sound hardware. I muted the volume because I'm at work so that was reflected, but that wasn't a change from this software. Very portable it seems.

Added to the database. I've been looking for a good ad-free, portable Solitaire suite for a very long time now - thanks for finding it for me!

It is available a new version 2.51 of it...and seems to be portable as well.
In this case we could update the entry or add a new one (given that the new version seems to not support old windows).
