Synopsis: Coffee is an improved, bug fixed and multilanguage successor of the

I must say that C.A.F.E.
is still developed.

The version I'm using is from 2009-Oct-19. I have never tried any mods but things you can do with latest version of original c.a.f.e is amazing!
http://download.tuxfamily.org/nomadsoft ... .1.6.8.zip
You can make your own
portable context menu which you invoke with double right clicking on file or middle clicking or win+left clicking... Imagine what you can do with that! I even use it on my own computer.
I have for instance 7-zip submenu with different extract options, uniextract, unlocker, run as... submenu, edit (with notepad++), scan file or directory with clamwin portable antivirus...
And source files are also available.
I made a topic about this but nobody replied...

Good.. you can see in the CAFE changelog that its development was stopped for about a year.
I'll try it soon and eventually migrate to its new source code also for Coffee.

Or you could help the guy...
I found this comment on

Come to help me.
Tuxmouraille - August 14, 2008 - 5:48am
Hello, my name is Lahire Biette aka Tuxmouraille.
I am one the original devs of C.A.F.E. And now the only one active.
You can get the latest version of it here:
http://download.tuxfamily.org/nomadsofts/C.A.F.E./.
I am developping other utilities, like a trash, a linker and other more ones.
I always need help.
Now with the latest realese you have: file association, context menu and hot keys.
All without changing something in the Windows registry.
Now I need some help to make configuration GUI.
Because c.a.f.e. could really use a GUI for context menu building. I think there are too many c.a.f.e. mods, and if you're gonna put your energy in it, that maybe you should try to work together with original author on making c.a.f.e. even better instead of working alone on Coffee.

I already contacted the author when he stopped CAFE development. I decided to create Coffee to fix some bugs and add translations to a mod version of cafe, but I'm not interested in maintain a parallel software if the original version is under development again. So I have contacted again the author, offering my collaboration to work on it to improve, translate and distribute the new branch.
I saw also that he have started to develop PERU, an all-in-one solution that includes cafe and other tools. I'd like to collaborate with the author to improve it and to complete the integration in a unique software (instead of separated tools), that I think is the best solution for it. I hope he would like to consider my idea.

It seems that no good deed goes unpunished!
I feel sorry that Lupo has received this verbal trouble in response to his efforts to build a better app for us all. I like PortableApps.com and use a number of John T. Haller's apps. However, in this case he is speaking beyond his knowledge base and has not noted the fact that coffee functions considerably better than the original IMHO.

Thanks for the report. The problem is that John T.H. don't like my project and I'm sorry for it. I think portableapps is a very good project, but I'd like to maintain the development of my project too. Portableapps is bigger and with many more developers, instead the problem of Lupo PenSuite is that I'm the only active developer (and in my free time you know that I like to work also on other tools), with other temporarily and useful (but not continuing) collaborations. I try to do the best project possible and I'd like only to resolve these conflicts with John.
About the problem with Coffee, I'll release a fixed version with the correct copyright report soon, may be tomorrow.

Has anybody managed to get Executor working with Coffee ?
The AHK class found for Executor is:
Doesn't work for me on my win7x64.
Maybe someone else had better luck?
I believe I'm missing something here ...

Executor works OK with PortableFileAssociator but not with Coffee...
What am I missing?

I think your work has produced a superior version of the software.
I thank you for all your work, and would like to see it continue.
(Unless cafe has had a major overhaul it is likely not usable yet.)
If you do not continue the Coffe fork, I hope that the developer of Cafe will include you in.

I'm using CAFE right now; it's far, far superior to coffee. (You probably haven't seen the "major overhaul" PortableApps gave it).
IIRC, I got this build via e-mail; I'll post it on Dropbox, though. Give me just a sec.
UPDATE: here you go.
