ASuite - application launcher

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Can you make me a screenshot? On my system, text is properly sized.

There's definitely a need for it.
First run wizard (as eMule http://blog.myplanets.org/guide/guida_e ... wizard.jpg)? I can do it. :)
Yeah, that would work.
I'm just commit a fix for these errors in github (https://github.com/salvadorbs/Asuite/issues/35). Thank you very much. :D
Cool, I'll try to get that up soon.

I'm happy to report that this program is back in development.

Always happy to have an open launcher program that doesn't require you put your programs in a specific subfolder.

Are you sure? I don't see a newer version than 2.0 beta from 2015.

Yep - I misread an update notification. Sigh.

Topic update: Seems development has picked up, ASuite v2.0 just released (changelog & download at https://github.com/salvadorbs/Asuite/releases).

Also, El Salvador posted an announcement to the forum entry (www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=692#comment31053).

Good catch, thanks. For the time being I'll push the downloads to SF.net

It was amazing news to see Matteo pick up the project again after a long hiatus so I hope this is just a temporary hiccup. I just started testing the beta. The program is still mentioned on his Github homepage: https://github.com/salvadorbs?tab=overv ... 2020-03-31

Sorry guys. I must disable the github repo for some time (maybe after summer it will return public, for now it is private repo). I'm just uploaded asuite 2.0.0 files in sourceforge page, so you can download asuite 2.0.0 from it. https://sourceforge.net/projects/asuite ... ite/2.0.0/

Thanks for the update -- glad it wasn't anything serious. Very good to have [what I think of as a] real launcher program back in development. :)

@El Salvador: minor cosmetic suggestion, please update the "Options|Stats" dialog to reflect the font style of the remainder of ASuite -- as it stands, it looks jagged and blurry in my Windows 7 x64, as can be seen in the following screenshot.

BTW, after examining the executable with Resource Hacker, I noticed that section retained "MS Sans Serif" as the 'Font.Name' value while (most) of the rest of the program shows either "Tahoma" or "MS Shell Dlg 2".

Thank you. I've never noticed it. Anyway I'm working (slowly) to porting ASuite in Lazarus IDE + FPC (no more Delphi) and certainly I will change those labels with these https://github.com/jackdp/JPPack#tjppdoublelinelabel (yeah, PStart Style!).
