TrackMania Nations Forever (free version) - racing game

I had TmNf installed in a Vista machine.
Copyed to a 1G USB Pen
Unistalled
Runit from the USB Pen OK

I take the Stick to a XP and try to Run

(complains about d3dx9_30.dll)
update with the latest DirectX drivers

It Runs but creates a Folder "TrackMania" In My Documents

Changing the Nadeo.ini
UserSubDir=TrackMania
To
UserSubDir=H:\TrackMania
as no or little efect

Give UP (for now), but it runs
(don't know if writes registry entry's or other stuff)

If someone care to help...


BTW: TrackMania United Forever and TrackMania Nations Forever do not include StarForce

you only need to copy this d3dx9_30.dll file to your trackmania dir and it will run
no need to instal directx

UserSubDir=TrackMania

you might want to use jauntepe to redirect the filesystem
