Diffractor - photo / video manager

#1 Post by webfork »

Synopsis: a really sharp and polished photo / video manager. Lots of features and controls.

Image

Steps:

* Download the setup file and unzip using 7zip
* Launch Diffractor.exe

Status: Not portable, writes to HKCU\Software\Diffractor and saves a DB file in appdata

License: depending on your viewpoint it's freeware with some available advanced features or liteware. I'd lean more towards freeware just because the advanced "sponsor" items are just nice tweaks rather than major features.

Update: two have come since this was posted about initially, now at 122.9 it looks like some keyboard interface changes and bug fixes.

Update here: the program has gone fully free, meaning donation assisted and no longer liteware. https://www.diffractor.com/news

FYI, Diffractor has a pending portability request at https://github.com/diffractor/diffractor/issues/13.

So I'll just assume it is still not portable...

Yeah that's probably safe. Good add so next time I see an update I can see if that issue got addressed.
