A Sharper Scaling

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

A Sharper Scaling

#1 Post by Andrew Lee »

I had wanted to add this to the database last year, but forgot about it until recently when I had the need to use it again.

Added to database: A Sharper Scaling

This is one of those tiny app that performs one function very well. In this case, it upsizes a digital image better than conventional methods by preserving more details, hence the final result looks better.

It does write settings to the registry (eg. last target scale 2x, 3x etc.), but for what it does, I don't think it matters. A portable ZIP version is available for download without the need to extract.

Hope some of you find it useful!

Nice find Andrew, thanks 8)

As clearly stated in the specs, the main ASharperScaling.exe GUI requires Win7 or higher.
However, the included scale.exe CLI runs also perfectly under WinXP !
