Portability
HashFiles is portable and stealth by design:
  • Download either the RAR (HashFiles.rar) or ZIP (HashFiles.zip) archive.
  • Extract the archive to a folder of your choice.
  • Run HashFiles.exe.
  • Settings are saved in an INI file (cfg.ini) inside program folder.
Requirements
FairStars HashFiles doesn't require any installation process or additional DLL files.
License
This utility is released as freeware. You are allowed to freely distribute this utility via CD/DVD ROMs, Internet, or in any other way. You may not charge any fee for the copy or use of the software itself, but you may charge a distribution fee that is reasonably related to any cost you incur distributing the software (e.g. packaging). If you distribute this utility, you must include all files in the distribution package, without any modification.
Note
I have not tested the Non-Unicode Version.
The program features a clean and neat interface (with handy "Stay on Top" button), ease of use and simplicity- it supports the most common hashing algorithms (CRC32, MD5, SHA1, SHA256).
I would like to thank the developers from FairStars for their helpfulness and for the immediate fix of the problem I encountered in HashFiles version 1.03.
