A43 File Manager - a couple of glitches >SOLVED

I sent email to developer a couple of weeks ago with no response, so I'm hoping someone here might be able to answer my questions.

1. The "set Date & Time Stamp" tool seems to be broken.
No matter what date and/or time I try to use, I always get error message that " (the entered date & time) is not valid".
Click Ok, and dismiss the message, and of course, no change to file attributes.

2. "find file" tool seems to be only capable of locating files, never folders.
If I enter for example the word
Finished
, search will not start
if I enter
*Finished or Finished*
, it will find my files named
FinishedReport.xls or FinishedVid.avi, but will not find the FOLDER named Finished.
As much as I love A43, especially the integrated zip/unrar/sfx tools, this Find glitch is becoming a deal-breaker for me.


Does any other A43 user have these problems, or is it just me?
If you did, did you find a fix or workaround?

Wishing for help!!!!
(I don't want to assassinate one of my favorite softwares.)

Ok, all sorted now.

The developer responded, and the Time & Date Stamp problem arose because I had my date custom formatted in control panel to use dashes as separators, and apparently A43 only recognizes slashes.

The File Find problem was due to user error, I did not have "Directory" checked for search in the Advanced tab.


So, there's the answers if any of you stub your toes on these problems.
