InDeep Notes is an interesting note taker that uses the filesystem as database, saving notes as plain text files (note title gives file name) which, e.g., is great for Markdown...

It needs some more features (URL recognition, clipboard catcher) but its minute size and simplicity might be its greatest asset. 8)

CSlide

CSlide at version 2.0.3, change log.
CSlide is a tiny but capable and great-looking image viewer, I absolutely don't agree with the rating (3.5/5) Softpedia gave it, in my opinion the reviewer (Mircea Dragomir) has been extremely stingy.

CSlide at version 2.0.4, changes:
2.0.4
- files are moved when Recycle Bin is not available.
- more interface options, and other improvements.
CSlide 2.0.3:

CSlide 2.0.4:

I do not like the abominable sandwich, the cog-wheel looks far better so I am sticking to version 2.0.3.

Today I was frustrated by Imgur's new style so I am searching for an alternative, recommendations are welcome.

@FAV

Welcome to the forum and many thanks for the custom build of CSlide with the cog-wheel! I never imagined that a developer would comply with such a whim.
I have a question- which version of .NET is the minimum requirement for CSlide to work?

On Windows 10, 8, and 7, it works without anything besides the OS. The required framework is in the OS itself.
If it doesn't work this way, that is an issue that I should know about and fix it.
On Vista and Xp, the .Net framework 2.0 needs to be installed first.

Confirmed. I checked the EXE, which had no record.

Why does CSlide.exe requires admin privileges to run?

I never ran it with admin rights. It's not set to ask for admin privileges.
The installer runs with admin rights and will try to start CSlide after installation with the same rights. I should change that.

I ran the portable version (special build) in a sandbox environment and it triggered UAC requesting admin rights.

If that thing happened, then the environment asked for admin rights to run CSlide, not CSlide.
