I saw joytokey (http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/2/I/JoyToKey/JoyToKey.htm) only mentioned in passing on the Super Mario Brothers War posting from 2006. I think it is a pretty cool little application that maps keyboard keys and mouse inputs to a joystick of your choosing. It is freeware and appears to be completely portable. I think it should be considered for your site. Let me know if you agree ...

I feel really guilty about ot submitting it ages ago ow.

This is a great app, the best and easiest profiler I've used
and it is totally portable.

I;ve used it every day for years for loads of things from games to desktop mouse emulation and reading pdf and cbr's (Saves your fingers on cold nights)

I think it deserves a place here

I am just curious if I am searching the forum correctly. I see that the attribution is to Fluffy (not that I care) but it made me wonder since that was my first submission if I am not looking in the right place before I make a post.

Xpadder really kicks arse.I tried it in one game where ol' faithful failed me and haven't looked back since.

So the Xpadder's dev took Fluffy's recommendation completely in reverse -- you can't even download the latest version without buying it...

Any links to the last freeware? Luckily JoyToKey is still available -- although its TPFC entry is still private: http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1402.

I still really like the idea of buying a 10 year old game controller and using it as a desktop productivity tool. As such, one such tool that might be able to take the place of various tools mentioned over time:

I saw a similar program, found this thread, and decided it wasn't worth listing. But I did find the last freeware version over at MajorGeeks:
