Exactly! What I want to emphasize is that if you have a Linux that have Wine installed, you can run in Linux most of your portable Windows apps without care about how to proceed to do it. The title of this section of the forum is "Portable Apps That Run Under Emulation", suggesting something that is true: Some of Windows apps run but other do not run in Linux. My purpose is to test a 'sample' of them and see how much of them can run.nycjv321 wrote:slax(killbill edition) comes with wine lol
Up to now I have seen that those apps that need some specific drivers or libraries of Windows or are very 'dependent' on the tree filesystem in Windows cannot run in Linux. I am publishing in my page a list of apps and the result of the trials (there is some delay in the list, with respect to the reports here).
