UPX-iT v1.6.2

#1 Post by Midas »

All UPX free graphic front-ends that I've come across suffer from one form or another of featuritis, user-unfriendliness or both...

Enter UPX-iT -- although it hasn't been developed in ages (homepages at http://www.upx-it.de and http://www.codeplace.de have both vanished long ago, as did Alexander Feller, it's developer/owner) it still is, IMHO, one of the best GUIs for UPX, supporting drag'n'drop operation and displaying remarkably modern looks (UPXShell, which comes in a very close second is also defunct). After pondering this for quite some time and while trying my hand with yaP, I decided to have a go at making UPX-iT portable...

So, here it is: http://www.filedropper.com/upx-it-yap

:!: Any testing/advising/feedback will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Should you care, tproli was kind enough to note a few shortcomings of this @ http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... 710#p49710
