Tails - live USB/CD Linux distro aimed at privacy

#1 Post by freakazoid » Thu Mar 15, 2012 10:08 am

I didn't add this topic to the submission stage because this site is mostly for Windows peeps, but I just came across Tails - a live USB/CD Linux distro that you can use to surf the internet privately and anonymously.
* use the Internet anonymously almost anywhere you go and on any computer: all connections to the Internet are forced to go through the Tor network;
* leave no trace on the computer you're using unless you ask it explicitly;
* use state-of-the-art cryptographic tools to encrypt your files, email and instant messaging.
More details about the software it bundles in the distro can be found here:

FYI, T(A)ILS is one of the many distros Your Universal Multiboot Installer (YUMI) can 'burn' to a multiboot USB drive...
