Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ? (3)
Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
This is strange because I haven't seen this error on Windows 7 x64. Have you filed a bug report with Opera?
Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
I didn't see the point...there are many others that did it. The guys at Opera know about it, but couldn't find a solution yet.
I don't see a pattern. This error just pops up whenever it feels like... I "throw" it outside the screen and just continue browsing (if I hit OK, Opera crashes). It is annoying, though!

I've got that message too, randomly on closing Opera.

In the latest Opera 12 release they've fixed the following DSK-357357 (Crash on exit: "R6026 Microsoft C error."), but it appears joby_toss yours was a R6025 error, but I thought the two might be connected in some way.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Unfortunately I still get that error.
However, something interesting happened this time: all the thumbnails on the pages I was browsing at the time it happened, disappeared:

Weird, I wouldn't have expected that from a fresh install. I know I didn't get that.
Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
Mentioning disappearing thumbnails could perhaps help developers to identify the issue.
Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
I will do that if I can reproduce it, sure.

What a fantastic change log and a lot of new HTML5 goodies. I reckon by the time this is stable they will be at 100% in terms of points on html5test.com.
By the way I'm running the x64 version and I still haven't been able to replicate the error you've been having for some time.

A new snapshot plus they acknowledge there is a problem with the 6025 runtime error for some users.

This snapshot might fix the issue you've been having joby_toss >> http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/20 ... jucctments
Something I'm happy about with this snapshot:

Re: Is Opera 12 standard portable or not ?
I'm a happy Opera 11.62 user now!
Someday I might try snapshots again, but I'm too mad at the moment. They shouldn't have even published such a buggy snapshot! And I'm not even talking about the R6025 pure virtual function call error. There were so many crashes in the previous snapshot that it was unusable! I even used Firefox for a while!
