Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.
I have written a menu system specifically for USB drives. It is along the lines of PStart (even though it is not quite as pretty or feature rich...yet ).
One of the cool advantages it has is that it is "USB aware". It knows that it is run from a USB drive and monitors that drive. When that drive is unplugged, it automatically shuts itself down. No need to remember to close the menu. Just unplug and go!
Quite nice... and it´s only a starting pre-alpha-beta-testing-preview release!!!
I am sure that it will become very cool...
Tip: look also at ASuite by Salvador Software (see Database)... it´s growing up with a lot of interesting options. Maybe you could build something which imports and EXPORTS the settings among all these different systems... which would be very very cool...
