Copying a DVD?

#1 Post by ahoier »

What would I need to Copy a DVD? Sounds like a stupid question, but Nero Express Audio CD "Copy Disk" makes it so easy :P

And well, I only have 1 DVD drive, so it would have to copy it to the HDD first, eject the Master, and THEN I'd insert the blank DVD media to burn it to that disk.

My bro just graduated and has a neat slideshow/collage that he's wanting to pass around to classmates.

honestly, I haven't tried anything yet :P Since, I'm a total novice to DVD Copying really. All I have currently, is the DVD-RW drive (external via USB 2.0) hehe.

But I'd imagine the software would need to "rip" the DVD disk contents to the hard drive, and then when complete, prompt me to insert blank media DVD disk, and then from there, burn away.

yea it's probably the wrong spot, but I was looking just for a quick crash course to DVD copying using some easy to use freeware/OS software :P
