PDF viewer and marked/annoted text

#1 Post by Rak »

Hello all,

First of all, if I'm posting in a wrong place, excuse me, I'm a new one here.

Maybe someone can help me with this one: I read lots of .pdf and I forgot what software make my marks/highlighted text APART from saving it inside the .pdf and create an extra file to put it. Unfortunatly I guess that the program was the old version of adobe pro version 7. Example: I have a book.pdf and use the tool to highlight some lines. This highlight mark is saved in another file called book.something and my book.pdf is keep intact. Anyone here know what portable (or not) reader do it?

Thank you all again and sorry if this post are in the wrong place. I'll learn to use this site, I'm a mathematician, but, before that, I've coded a lot in many languages (mainly C and Assembly to reverse engine old time stuffs...) and I'll contribute with code/applications to this site who helped me a lot, since I have no admin rights to install tools in some key places.

Thanks again and sorry for my bad english, I've learned it alone.

I have a feeling that PDF-Xchange viewer might do this.
