This is great software. However I wonder if the executable has some commandline options, and what the possible parameters are that we can specify in settings.ini besides debug mode.

Very thanks for greg.webhop. Can I hidden dialog when the PostgreSQL is running (only show in system tray)?
I'm testing version 1.2.0, sometime that notice "Error starting PostgreSQL", but the PostgreSQL still running. I also want to know how to using command line to start the PostgreSQL without click the "PostgreSqlPortable.exe". Thanks.

Edit: actually, I just unpacked it and initialized it. Now when I click "Start PostgreSQL" all I get is an error message saying "Error starting PostgreSQL". Could it be because I don't have admin privileges on the computer?

Re-edit: it actually works (postgres running five instances in the taskmanager and phppgadmin can connect to it), only the launcher doesn't seem to be able to see that postgres is running.

* XAMPP (unfortunately) uses MySQL, not postgress so I have no idea what you're trying to do
* A quick web search shows that site has gone offline and I guess there's no mirror ... does anyone on the site have a copy of PostgreSQL Portable or pgAdmin III portable?

It can actually work with XAMPP, I even made a tutorial for that a while ago.
Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy of that PostgreSQL portable (I only installed it at work, and I changed city since then... :/).
