#1 Post by Wolfghost »

Is it posibillity to add (32/64bit) to program entry to make it more clear to understanding the requirements in future ??

ex: Requirements: WinXP / Vista / Win7 (32/64bit)

This is a suggestion

That's a good suggestion, but personally I would have posted in http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... =12&t=5601, because this is a suggestion for the Edit function.

That's fine! 3 apps already added to the database! I have yet to test http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1844 and I don't test .NET apps unfortunately! :)

Did you decide which avenue to take when testing for Portability?

Well not yet, I'm still using RegFromApp and manual scan registry with prog-name and author-name.
And yes btw, thanks for answer, it seem to be Regshoot2 in future
I will go in later

I prefer to use System Explorer, because you can take a snapshot of the system i.e. Files and Registry and then take a second snapshot and compare both. With RegFromApp it's hit or miss whether it will attach to the application you're testing and it doesn't show you iwhether files write to the %APPDATA% folder.
