Hi, everyone!
Recently I had a great pain with installing .Net Framework 2.0 and always got 25007 error.
Although I followed instructions of Aaron Stebner's site and used his Net cleaning program it didn't help.
One of my basic services seemed to be ruined in Windows.
I was desperate until I used this little piece of masterpiece.
This little free program is able to help you reregister muptiple basic services of XP like WMI, restore icons and others. The installation XP CD may be of you use during repair.
It doesn't support IE 8 needs to say but doesn't ruin it as well.
Unfortunately currently it supports only Windows XP. Perhaps later Vista and 7 will be supported too.

Re: dial-a-fix
Because Dial-a-fix officially supports XP and below does anyone know of a good alternative that will work for Vista & 7? I have found two which I consider the best http://leelusoft.blogspot.com/2009/12/7-quick-fix.html and http://www.thewindowsclub.com/repair-fi ... in-utility, but does anyone know of more applications in this particular category.
