WipeDisk is a portable tool for wiping Harddisks (logical and physical disks), USB disks and Floppys.

WipeFile supports 14 wiping methods (e.g. two US Navy standards, the standard of the US Department of Defence, the US Airforce and the NATO standard).

WipeDisk is available in English, German, Dutch and Polish.

Nice program, Tested on some floppys wiped them nice and clean. Only one Problem.... No English help file

Interesting site you have. I already use WipeFile and now you released WipeDisk. Indeed: great software! and available in my native language:-)

Nice piece of software... It does add a key tho...

HKU\S-1-5-21-746137067-2025429265-682003330-1005\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache\*:\*\*\WipeDisk\WipeDisk.exe: "WipeDisk - Löscht Datenträger schnell und sicher"

So not strictly portable as it leave a record of its use and the drive it was run from (i replaced with *)...

but.... I do like it and its now on my key

WipeFile does not write into the Registry. This key is added by the windows shell, not by the program.

I work in computer forensics so I'm a little more cautious than most. Always good to find new info (it never stops lol).
