uTorrent poll

#1 Post by gp_hbk »

I just wanted to know what most of you call it. The symbol μ is a greek letter used to represent 1 millionth in the metric system. So, the name would make sense because of the small size of μTorrent.

I use the Greek name simply because I'm studying at the moment and come across Greek symbols all the time, so it feels natural for me to use the actual symbol name (i.e. "mu")

When I used to hang out in the IRC channel, ludde (the author of uTorrent) insisted that he preferred microtorrent, but he didn't mind folks calling it mutorrent. He just wasn't a fan of people calling it uTorrent.
