Another 3 days on Firefox 135.0 + uBlock v1.62.0 and everything seems to be working ok.

@lwc: if you are still having issues, lemme know how I can get closer to your config. Maybe some other addons that you have that I don't etc.

The default, which I just checked, is "Remember history".

The setting "Do not remember history" seems to be like incognito mode in Chrome?

If so, nothing is persisted across sessions (cookies etc). In that case, isn't it to be expected that your session history will be lost?

Yes, it's like Chrome.
No, it's not about closing the browser. The login gets lost after about 0-60 seconds, as soon as I refresh, open a new page or click submit. Sometimes it happens even in the login page itself!

So after I changed my Firefox setting to "Never remember history", my login stays valid as long as I don't close the browser.

After I close the browser, I will have to login again when I restart the browser.

All within expectations so far, I reckon...

This happened to me some time back on my Vivaldi browser. What worked for me was removing all the TPFC related cookies and clearing the browser cache.

It worked, thanks!!! At least so far so good...did you change something in the way the site saves cookies that could have caused this? Maybe upgraded phpBB?

It just happened again! This is so annoying and doesn't happen with any other site for me.
I write a reply and unless I finish like a gun is pointed at my head, when I hit reply I get a login box and lose my entire reply.

Just for the sake of debugging, could you try what I did with a fresh copy of Firefox Portable and uBlock and nothing else installed, and see if you still hit the same problem?

Before I do, did you try both with and without enabling "Remember me" when logging in?

For the time being, you'll probably want to "select all" and "copy" your post text before hitting submit. :|

Better yet, use a clipboard manager...
