Re: Site broken
Thanks Nick.
This is what I will do. I will check on a daily basis, and refresh if need be.
After 1 week, if it is still not auto-refreshing, I will switch to the site RSS and turn off feedburner.
Feedburner used to be a defacto thing if you are running RSS, but that time is long gone, and I think Google has totally lost interest in it and just barely maintaining a foothold on the property. All the stats and numbers that you used to be able to access has also disappeared, so I am not sure if it still makes sense to continuing using it.

Re: Site broken
The site keeps logging me off too.
It happens after every refresh or new page browsing, unless I check "Remember password", but even that just delays it for a couple of minutes.

Re: Site broken
Is anyone else having this problem? I am mostly using Vivaldi for TPFC and it's been OK for me so far.
Is it possible to turn off all extensions on your browser and see if the issue persist? One possible reason is the interaction between a browser extension and Cloudfare. I am using uBlock myself with Vivaldi.
Re: Site broken
FWIW, I'm on Firefox ESR and I haven't had any login issues so far.

Re: Site broken
Using the latest Firefox It seems to be fixed if uBlock is disabled, but it shouldn't log off due to it.

Re: Site broken
Feedburner is not auto-refreshing no matter what I do, so I think there's no point going down this rabbit hole anymore.Andrew Lee wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 12:34 am Thanks Nick.

I have changed the RSS feed link to an internal one:
https://www.portablefreeware.com/feed.php
but you will need to update the URL in your feedreader as well.

Re: Site broken
OK, I will test with the latest version of Frefox w/uBlock for the next couple of days and see if I can reproduce the issue.
I am also using uBlock with Vivaldi and it hasn't caused any issue for me so far.

Re: Site broken
Alright, all entries now lead to 404...confirmed in multiple browsers and also without uBlock.
That is, portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=XXXXXX
Maybe it affects other types of links too.

BTW, 2 days with Firefox + uBlock and no issue so far. I'm on latest v93.0 running on Windows 10.Andrew Lee wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 2:46 amOK, I will test with the latest version of Frefox w/uBlock for the next couple of days and see if I can reproduce the issue.

Maybe some other addons interacting with uBlock that is causing this issue? If anything comes to mind, do lemme know.

Re: Site broken
Haha! That's weird.. last I looked at "About Firefox", it told me v93.0, but today when I brought up the screen again, it decided to download v127.0. Then after an update and restart, it decided to downloaded v135.0 automatically and apply! So after another restart, I am finally up to date on v135.0.lwc wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 10:34 amBut latest is v135.0.Andrew Lee wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:45 pm BTW, 2 days with Firefox + uBlock and no issue so far. I will wait for a couple more days and report.
Re: Site broken
No problem, meanwhile please make sure you use the latest Firefox uBlock v1.62.0.
