This game/toy is so cool! If get your kids to play with this they'll be engineers for sure!
Saves files to relative sub directory.

It is much better. That's what I said.
Did you recognize my little "²" at the end?
I like the possibility to create fluids and moving parts. This app is real fun.

slum
Looks awesome, shame my card (NV5500) just cant hack it
Re: slum
I have the same problem. I can play it if I don't put any water on the screen but my computer sounds like it's about to start hovering. I found a nice flash clone of Crayon Physics at http://magic.pen.fizzlebot.com/ it may be a blatant ripoff but it has a lot more levels than the version of Crayon Physics that I tried.nutellajunkie wrote:Looks awesome, shame my card (NV5500) just cant hack it

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen a computer do. Ever. First watch this video to get oriented. Then watch this video to see what it's really capable of.
Don't download this unless you have several hours to spare

On many occasions I have posted apps that actually the world doesn't really need. Another process viewer, another font explorer .. the list goes on. So have others.
But this post from garbanzo is unique. It's brilliant!
Assuming it meets the'portable' criteria it should go into the Database ASAP.
Thanks very much garbanzo for drawing it to my attention. I had never heard of it before.
And you're right - it will consume a good few hours.

I just stumbled upon it today, I don't even remember how. It's all based on the work of the author's master's thesis on a 2D physics engine that solves for constraint forces. I'll bet he passes
Isn't that roller coaster amazing? It must have taken a month to built it!
Check this out - someone made a working stopwatch. Woah.
My wife is really going to hate me this weekend...

@garbanzo
I enjoyed the Stopwatch program. I was actually tickled by the familiar nursery song in Japanese
You got me searching on Youtube (I liked the Pascal demonstration - I even learnt something about poo dynamics (haha!)).
Then I stumbled across ...
Phunbox
http://www.phunbox.net/
This site has almost 5000 scenes for download

Is this different to
http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... light=phun
?
I loved that program (until I ran out of ideas =[)
I've not much time to check out all of the details so if someone knows the differences and could post?
Thanks

oh well. if i introduce some new people to this fun, free program, then it's all good
Crayon Physics is another one to look out for. There's only a simple version available now, the Deluxe is still being worked on. Still...
In the mean time, have you played this?

When I saw on that site "Lode runner" I almost didn't bother trying it but that game is so cool.
Not portable but I can see the rest of my night spent with a ninja.
ON a similar subject, nobody on here seems interested in games or fun stuff any more, anyone reckon it's worth posting some more?
