Ashampoo Burning Studio FREE

#1 Post by juverax »

There were several posts in the forum mentioning the availability of Ashampoo Burning Studio as a free "giveaway" (e.g. viewtopic.php?p=63945#p63945 ).
It looks like that Ashampoo Burning Studio v.1.24.13 is now FREE.

Ashampoo's current commercial version is Burning Studio 24 and has additional capabilities: https://www.ashampoo.com/en-us/burning-studio
Ashampoo still maintains a page for downloading a free version of Ashampoo Burning Studio: https://www.ashampoo.com/en-us/burning-studio-free

@jenss
Thank you for the tutorial. I don't think I am going to test Ashampoo Burning Studio .... The effort may not be worth what I am looking for anyway.
I am just looking at (free) Audio CD burning tools that can embed CD-Text in the audio track and leave the CD open for a future multi-session disk.

So far I found 3 (but none work exactly as I want, some fine tuning may be necessary, more testing is needed):
BurnAware (https://www.burnaware.com/)
Burrrn (https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=684)
JetBee (https://jetbee-free.en.softonic.com/)

For the data session I use CDBurnerXP (https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2992)

You should try IMGburn. There is some possibilities burning CD-text :

Default CD-TEXT under 4.4

and

@jenss: Thank you for suggesting IMGburn, which I have tried, but it does not have the option of leaving the CD open (required for writing a second session containing data).. I am going to look at it again.
