Yes I am. The developer is using the Windows Compatibility logos but they must be part of the Windows Logo Program to do so. The benefit is it adds a sense of trust that this has officially been recognised by Microsoft as working with their OS. Don't forget not all PC users are Portable whiz kids like us.
I think Guinness is talking about the Windows Logo Program linked above which seems to only apply to computer hardware stuff. I don't think you have to worry about it.
