CCode is a new, fast-growing text editor.
It is free, portable and has clear user interface
translated into several languages, with styles.
This software is well-designed: small and fast, easy to use.
It was developed as a custom code editor for programmers.
At the same time, it has important features that allow you
to use it as an all-purpose, powerful editor for many jobs.
CCode is full-featured multi tab for easy work with
many files and has easy customizable text snippets.

CCode - new small and powerful text editor.
Re: CCode - new small and powerful text editor.
Simple and compact, yet feature rich; nice!
Some observations:
- Couldn't find an easy way to insert current date/time;
- "Help | contents" did nothing on my Windows 10 system;
- Consider reversing shortcut assignments for "Make Uppercase"/"... Lowercase" since the former is used more and should be quicker;
- Same for "[Help] Contents" and "Search MSDN", since F1 is standard for the first option;
- Make URL activation ASAP, it's one of the features I regard as mandatory in a text editor.
Overall, my request would be don't just make a programmer's editor (nothing wrong with that, but...), try to make a general text editor with simplicity in mind -- in time, users will come in droves to ccode because there are plenty text editors around but few that fit that bill.
BTW, changelog is at https://yubsoft.com/ccode/changelog.html.
And they say an image is worth a thousand words...

A promising, new editor! Reminds me of AkelPad.
Just did a quick test and CCode doesn't scale well on HiDPI screens. Hopefully this can be addressed in a future release. Also would be nice if we can change the font as well.

Re: CCode - new small and powerful text editor.
Not bad... not bad at all.
App is small, fast, and not bloated. For me, this is a really promising effort and a serious replacement for what I use today (namely Bowpad).
I ran into the same items that Midas pointed out. I'm on an x64 box, running a super-locked down W11 OS (LOL please don't throw tomatoes at me).
Also, I agree with Freakazoid... Changing the font size (also, changing the font type would be good) and maybe a plugin for spell check (I document my code and manifests quite a bit).
Other than that, this is great - keep up the awesome work! I'll be looking forward to future releases.
Cheers!

Re: CCode - new small and powerful text editor.
You can I think, edit the "Global override and "Default Style" font names/size values in the style folder of the XML you're using e.g. style\bespin.xml - close, restart and it should work. (not the easiest method of course)
Re: CCode - new small and powerful text editor.
Hello, I'm a developer of CCode, so glad that someone likes this program. I have taken note of user feedback, will update CCode from time to time. (Recently busy working on a new version of the ImgDrive driver).
Just now we released CCode v1.6: https://yubsoft.com/ccode/, if you have any suggestions, you can post it here, or send it to support@yubsoft.com, thank you.

Re: CCode - new text editor is updated
CCode is small and fast, powerful free code editor
and may be used as universal text editor too. Now
is often updated with many improvements. In my
opinion, this promising software is well-developed.
New version 2.1.0 portable is released 2023-07-13 and
may be downloaded https://www.yubsoft.com/ccode/
