If I submit TCP Monitor Plus to the database I think I would use a PNG file, I prefer static images for the database entries, animated GIF files somehow distract me.

I have similar feelings about anything but slide show-type animation but that application in particular seems well served by seeing how smooth it functions. I'm impressed.

How about first maximizing TCPmon window, and thereafter re-sizing down back to your liking?

Sure, that works, as long as the parent window stays bigger than ~900px horizontally (minimum width supported is 786px) -- if I go below that, the top boxes, which never adjust in size contrary to the bottom one with the graph, will overflow... it's no biggie, though.

TCP Monitor Plus v2.81 released 21-MAY-2018 - "Mini Monitor" supplementary info

Belatedly ( ) became aware of TCPM+ nifty "Mini-Monitor" inset working apart from the main TCPM+ window,
which had been included all along in TCPM+, but was affected by some display issues as of v 2.77.
