Updated the update function. It will check for new or updated beta versions and inform the user.
Added version number in the status bar. Clicking it will check for update.

Notes Keeper is still going. I appreciate how the author put "portable" in bold right on the front page in the description.

Version 5.2.3.0 [21-1-2023]

Users can now pass database path to Notes Keeper by command line or creating a shortcut from File-> Create shortcut and open a database no matter where is the database.
Changed “Set icon” for notes to “Change icon”
Added “Change icon” for folders. Users can now set icons for folders and these icons will stay when the folder opened or closed.
Added “Remember last opened folder” setting in general settings. This will allow the user to open last opened folder the user opened. But “Startup note” has the priority if the user set it.
Fixed: ‘Replace all’ button not working in ‘Search and Replace’ window
