DNS Jumper

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Sorry but DnsJUmper's System Requirements are wrong becaause it has Windows 8 and 8.1 support too

I've been looking into improved DNS services based on some articles I've been reading. DNS Jumper gives a good indication of speed you should be looking for:

Google is of course the fastest connection but not helpful on the adblocker / privacy front. You can add your own service in settings:

And the program will run a test. Here you can see adguard isn't the best connection from my location.

... this isn't anything against the adguard service -- it could be any number of issues causing that slow speed. And it might be worth the slight delay if the server blocks other connection-slowing content like ads and trackers.
