Sep 14, 2009 — Beta M10.3 Update
- Automatic reloading of changed notebook fileEnhancement
If you use services like DropBox or Syncplicity to synchronize your CintaNotes notebooks, this will protect the newer version of the notebook from being overwritten with the old version (this could happen if you kept CintaNotes running on two or more PCs simultaneously).
CintaNotes hang when you used the clipping function while having the note editor active and the "Open in Editor" option turned on.Fix
CintaNotes Beta M10.4

Re: CintaNotes Beta M10
Forgive me if I am wrong but is this not misspelled?? (I do not mean to be disrespectful, or argumentative but this was confusing me at first.)

Update: Wrote most of this before I noticed the replies to Kranors original post, but I still think this is pertinent.

I believe the application is "CintaNotes" (special emphasis on the letter T).
I only ask because the update would imply that it is in the database, but no link to the program as in the database is given, and a search for "CinaNotes" only provides the thread for update.
CinaNotes search http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.p ... s&m=Search (This search finds only this thread)
CintaNotes search http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.p ... s&m=Search
Both the database entry and the update thread point to the website http://www.cintanotes.com/
I think it is nice to mention the database entry if possible, where this applies, as this avoids confusion, even if an application has a name change.
Mentioning the database entry also provides information such as "how to ...", please remember not everyone uses the same software, nor are they familiar with the same software by name. (Implying they might not look for or find the "How To ...")
Example of application changing name http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... t=mydefrag
I think this is a case (name change) where mentioning the database entry is very important, but I believe it is always important to mention the database entry. (For another case. Last I looked there are several database entries with the same exact name, but different functions, and or website, and or developers, and or etc.)
I did notice the other posts in this thread got the name correct, just my thoughts on a potential problem.

Oh and Kranor please change the threads title.
