JkDefrag v3.21
Changes:
- Fixed the fix in v3.20 for the problem that caused the NTFS analysis code to malfunction on a-typical NTFS disks. The fix only worked on disks with a cluster size of 4096 bytes, it now works on all disks.

Now it is up to 3.22.

Does this guy need to do more testing?

Wow, tired of updating it now, I'll check back in a week and see what version it's on.

is it portable?

JkDefrag V3.26
Simon.T: goto C:\Windows\System32 and search for JkDefragScreenSaver.scr JkDefragScreenSaver.exe (so... what is this?) [2007-11-03 13:08]
I think that I did something wrong with it :?

Thanks, database updated!

@Simon: actually you are right: there are many versions of the defrag (all included in the same package) and this info is not in the database... the answer should be "just don´t use the screensaver..."

JKDefrag itself is portable...

On the plus side, at least you know the application is being actively developed!

I used this program for the first time yesterday... I was quite impressed, seems to do a pretty good job. Defragged all my fixed drives and I didn't have to lift a finger...just let it run and do its thing.

Hi!

I agree with Darkbee! ...and I guess that Simon only likes to play "the old freeware Owl"

My personal advice about this program: use the GUI by Emiel Wieldraaijer:

http://www.emro.nl/freeware/

It works pretty good... and this poor GUI guy has really problems because the coninuous development by Jeroen Kessels (JK)! 8) ...but they make a great job!

Another advice: don´t use the screensaver executables (JkDefragScreenSaver.exe JkDefragScreenSaver.scr, size about 340Kb). As already stated, they are not portable, but, because TPFC policy, they are counted (in bytes) as part of the package.
