I'm pushing this one up to let you know how to make Quick 'n Easy FTP Server registry write free.

Quoting Pablo:
If you specify a configuration file on the command line, the registry won’t be used to store the program's settings:
> > ftpserver ./yoursettings.ini (settings will be store in the current folder)
or
> > ftpserver ftpserver.cfg (settings will be store in the windows folder)
