Great piece of software! Easier to use that both ASuite and PStart in my opinion, even though these two have much more functionality.

Two thing that I am trying to accomplish unsuccessfully so far, though, is to have a separator in the large icon display and to have programmes listed in the category list (i.e. most often used programmes).

Does anyone know if this is possible?

no you can't do either,

when displaying large icons you really do not need a separator IMHO,
just create a new category for your frequently used shortcuts
