XnView description update

#16 Post by webfork »

Found out that this program was not included in "video players" or "screen capture" categories, even though it has both capabilities. I also took the chance to update the entry to include more of the features, of which this program has lots.

Over time, I've noticed this program has beat out Universal Viewer in terms of just opening more files, although for most everyday stuff I still prefer FastStone Image Viewer.

Thanks. I've updated the entry. :)

What a massive changelog! I truly appreciate the hard work of Pierre E. Gougelet, even though I don't use XnView myself.

I've noticed its even more effective than Universal Viewer and IrfanView in terms of power and flexibility. For regular image viewing I prefer FSViewer's interface, but XnView definitely has more under the hood.

I totally second that!

FWIW I should also add that (unlike FastStone) Pierre is extremely responsive and (legitimate) users' suggestions/requests are swiftly moving from his ToDo list into newer releases of his powerful software.
