Nano Antivirus

#1 Post by Midas »

Warning! I haven't tested it in any way -- I don't use resident antivirus countermeasures anymore -- but as I haven't found this around and it might be of interest for TPFC's community on account of minute download size (the installer is less than 10MB!), so here goes.
NANO Antivirus: effective and fast anti-virus solution that provides maximum protection of your computer against all types of malware -- cryptolockers, screen blockers, bank trojans, potentially unwanted programs, adware, spyware, etc. During development we have studied the modern requirements to antivirus programs and created a product that meets all these needs.
NANO Security is the Russian company which is founded in 2009 on the basis of the team which has developed and implemented own antivirus technologies since 2003. Our technologies are used in the Russian and foreign projects. Also we distribute the reliable and easy antiviruses which are completely based on our own antivirus technologies.

I couldn't find any standard review sets for this software. CNet did a review way back in 2013 but I can't seem to find any additional data.

Topic update: Nano Antivirus v1.0.146.90801 released 2021-02-19 (changelog at https://www.nanoav.pro/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9819#p9819).

While it keeps being freeware, NAV appears to be mostly oriented to a Russian public and no portable version that I know of is listed.
