Introductions to portable freeware

Having been doing this for a really long time, I often explain what I do as a hobby. I'll explain the whole portable thing to some folks and how that works, but once in a while, I also have to actually explain what freeware is.

One of the things I often forget on this site is that many people are just not keyed in to exactly what freeware is or why you'd want to use it. It seems like such a strange issue having benefitted from this for so many years, but here's one look at how many people are introduced to the topic:
