#1 Post by rbon »

Torrent Finder - Torrent Search Engine
Torrent Finder is a Metasearch tool for torrents search on:
-> Web, Images, Torrents, File Sharing, Streaming Sites, Videos, Music and Shopping
- web site: http://torrent-finder.info/
It works on best torrent sites in a similar way as 'Mamma' https://mamma.com/

In details (from site):
Torrent Finder is a Torrent Search Engine which searches top torrent sites from one page; The results from each site will be displayed in tabs or small horizontal frames. These results will lead to small files (1-3kb) with a .torrent extension, after you download these files add them to your favorite torrent client to start downloading the sources you are searching for with your usual download speed.

'torrent-finder.info' Form has 2 options for searching the listed sites:
1. Enter the keyword then click on your favorite search to open them in new window.
2. Enter the keyword then check or uncheck the sites on the form, then select how many sites you want to display per page then click the search button.

As this isn't a specific program but rather a website and browser add-ons I'm going to stick this under Resources and Links.

Also, I like torrentz.eu but don't go there without adblock.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread but is Torrent Finder & AIO the same thing? When clicking the link it takes me to the AIO site so I don't know if this a re-branding or what? I had this site in my bookmarks for w while but don't recognize if someone else is running it or if the simply gave it a facelift? Image

I haven't used AIO and can't comment on the quality or value, but it does look like they rebranded and became one of those meta search engines (with mixed support for other search tools). Even if they didn't have all those connections, it's probably a good idea since just having the name "torrent" in your URL will put you on block lists across the spectrum. They can also dump the Torrent function for some countries or if a search engine starts to penalize them.

It does appear that the other items discussed in this thread (e.g. Firefox add-on) are all still available. It does appear (at least in the screenshots) that they're defaulting to torrent downloads.
