Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Here's a tip, for anything that modifies shell extensions , like registering, uninstalling, or modding shell extension dll's that modify context menu items, kill explorer.exe before you do it and you won't have to restart or logout for changes to take effect.
What 7zTM basically does is replace image file resources in 7zFM.exe and 7z.dll. You could probably just use Resource Hacker and manually inject the theme icons yourself.
thanks
nice theme , i have not tried resource hacker , but i changed the theme thanks to your imputs
do you know one thing ? 7-zip does not save compression settings
like compression me method or level , sadly z-zip missed the profile like winrar
but the compression ratio is impressive , i guess it's the best
This feature has been suggested for a decade now and nothing has come of it. I wouldn't count on it with the speed of 7zip development and the devs lack of interest in creating a better GUI. http://sourceforge.net/p/sevenzip/featu ... q=profiles

I finally decided to try this app and it works, but the description and installation instructions need to be amended.
7-zip is currently at version 19, so the 7-Zip Theme Manager needs v2.1.1. However, our listing has v2.1.0 for download with a note in the description about v2.1.1. I think we should use v2.1.1 as the main download and list v2.1.0 in the description for those that want the bundled themes from the 'filetype' and 'toolbar' directories.

I don't mind updating it to the latest version, but what do you mean the "filetype" and "toolbar" directories?
EDIT: I figured it out -- the program includes a downloader program that downloads all the image files. I wish it would let me download that manually. Anyway, I see what you're going for and that makes sense -- you're welcome to make edits to the entry.
I recently switched to a new PC and tried this app again and it requires NET Framework 2.0, which I didn't have. Windows 10 and up only use later versions of NET Framework, 3.5 and 4.8.
Anyway, I wanted to test this with 7-Zip 21.05 and it still works.
