Chronolapse

#1 Post by I am Baas »

Chronolapse is a tool for creating time lapses and stop motions. It can take screenshots or webcam captures (or both simultaneously) at user defined intervals then help you process them into a video file.

I thought this was a really good post !

I suppose I am Baas was a little terse but if you go to the Home Site (code.google) you will find a number of links to youtube examples.

These show what can be done and it's pretty impressive.

I think the only other portable freebie with similar functionality is VirtualDub.
Chronolapse looks a better product for time-lapse.

Anyway thanks again for finding this.

If this one does everything it says, it's a winner!

Thanks!

Old thread update: Chronolapse has a github page but doesn't appear to be an active project anymore: https://github.com/collingreen/chronolapse
