10 Min Space Strategy

10 Min Space Strategy (a.k.a. 10MSS) is free game of galactic conquest, in the style of Master of Orion and Space Empires. Desktop Dungeons is also mentioned as an inspiration, with its simplified user interface and relatively short play time.

I've tested it for portablility, but not for stealth. Settings are kept in the file 10minspacestrategy.cfg which is in the same directory as the executable. I'd be glad if someone could see if any registry settings or non-portable files are created or modified.

Installation involves unzipping the zip file. Launch 10minspacestrategy.exe to play, and launch 10mss_config.exe to configure (though I believe you can also set everything from within the game itself).

I have a weird setup that doesn't like it when program both try to change the screen resolution and go full-screen, so I couldn't test this out. Loved the Microprose games of that era so might give it a try in the future.

Game updated to version 1.03 back in 2015.
No more updates on the dev blog since then.
I presume project is dead by now...
