KCleaner

Tested: Not Portable
KCleaner is designed to be the most efficient Hard Disk cleaner, tracking every useless byte in order to give you all the ressources you may need for your documents, music, pictures, movies,...
It is the first product of this kind featuring a full automatic mode, which works in background so that you don't have to care about when to launch it.
As a proof of its efficiency, it often finds up to many Gb not even seen by its competitors so... give KCleaner a try ! And if data security is something you are interested in, you'll love the secured file deletion methods proposed by KCleaner, making deleted files unrecoverable by any known mean.
Download: http://www.kcsoftwares.com/?kcleaner
Saves to %APPDATA%\KC Softwares and HKCU\Software\KC Softwares. Pity.

There's a review of this
here. I tried the portable version but it would analyse and then lock up.
It also writes a registry entry if memory serves.

It's cool -- that's why we're here. A lot of devs aren't totally clear on portable (and we are not the final word on that, it's just our local definition).
Thread moved.

SUMo Portable
Retested with v.3.10.3.228:
Verdict: STILL Not Portable, still writes settings to
C:\Users\lumcbrid\AppData\Roaming\KC Softwares
If one just ignores the settings, this could be considered portable from a very loose definition of the term. This program really does only one thing and it does it pretty well.

It works fine for me.

A quick list of all the KC Softwares mentioned on the site (as far as I know, none of it portable):
Though it should be noted that two of these programs have
YaP wrappers.
