Quick request: someone will eventually point out that KCleaner is nagware because there's a popup window when you close the program. I had been using "Clean and Close" so the exit message got past me as a note that the program was done. Is there any way you could leave that out of the program runtime until after it's finished a cleaning operation? In other words, if you just close the program without doing anything, the popup window doesn't appear?
Simpliest way is to use KCleaner PRO. I'll see if I can make this window optionnal in a future version under conditions.

Banner to buy pro version is not adware now?

It's indeed full feature. It's Freemium, nagware if you will but not AdWare as it's not advertising for 3rd party product or service ("embedded ads").

I generally think of advertisements as being for something else -- listing that pro versions of available software seems more like freemium. That said, when you watch TV and they run a banner for something on the same network during another show, it's still an ad.

Regardless, with Baas AND billon posting about this, I don't really have much else to say.

I'm afraid listing a commercial program on a site with "freeware" in the title isn't really a workaround.

That's why i'll look for a way to disable this message (eg : showing only once per version). I'll post more information when available.

Appart from this, any feedback on the features and performance ?

Thanks for hearing us out on that.

As far as performance, I've had no issues, but I did come up with some ideas around features:
  • Support for custom files/folders - I know I've seen that here in forums once or twice.
  • About page - website should probably point to the program website i.e. https://www.kcsoftwares.com/?kcleaner
  • Improve the wiping function - your program already handles this very well and I'm frankly impressed. But you might try to take into account whether or not the media is flash-based, either through detection or some kind of help file. It's a complex topic but as I understand it SSD wiping reduces drive life and may not work (more on this in a related thread). Also, less secure "zero out" SSD wipes might be helpful in terms of speed and drive life.

I can provide more information on what I'm thinking if any of that sounds interesting, but again the current wipe functions are more than fine.
Anyway, hope that's at least interesting -- I'll try to think up some more if you'd like.
