How frequently does it appear?

Not very frequently- once a month or so. To be more precise I will count from today on.

Really? I see my embedded screen-shot just right. Does this problem persist? Have you tried a different browser? Can you provide a screen-shot of how you see my embedded image? This is strange.

Tixati is not stealth - it registers Magnet-Links, Torrents and something like "dsc" in the Registry. Not a big deal-breaker, but not completely stealth.

I disagree- I use Tixati as a secondary torrent client and it has registered nothing to registry:



Tixati registers torrent, magnet and dsc links only if the user chooses so.

More- there is an option "Revert association on exit in portable mode" which can be checked if one has registered associations with Tixati.

So I consider Tixati portable and stealth.

If you are reading this post, please check it yourself and if you confirm what I wrote above, please revert Tixati database entry back to "Stealth".

I spotted the donation nag for the first time on 2016.09.17.
On 2016.11.10 (yesterday) I saw the same donation nag again.

I cannot be certain, I can only say that between these two nags Tixati had been running almost all the time.

The reminder popped up on 2016.12.29 again. So roughly this nag appears in 45-60 days.

Good to know. It does make me wonder: if something only bugs me once every 1-2 months with an ad or a nag, is it still nagware/adware?

For me Tixati is nagware but it is tolerable.

I also had this reminder, however only once - it's not really "naggy". Regarding the (portable) alternatives, Tixati in my opinion is by far the best torrent-client.

It's not stealth though - registers torrent- and magnet-links and "dsc" (?).
In my launcher you can see the entries it creates:

Once a month or over is not a nag in my book, only a reminder (compare with the missus for scale... ).
