RedCrab V3.21 released.

Download .zip package @ http://www.redchillicrab.com/download/redcrab.zip

Launch RedCrab.exe, change the default option (write settings to registry) to save settings to a file in the RedCrab folder(RedCrab.con file)

It seems the program is only Portable if run from a USB Drive only!

guiness is not often wrong but I must say that his experience did not match mine.

I tried the latest version with the app on my hard drive. It wrote redcrab.con to the demo folder of the application.

Definitely one for the database!

OK, I read the ChangeLog and it said about the USB being detected and automatically saving to the application folder. I now tested the latest version and it appears that when you uncheck the "Save to Registry" it will create RedCrab.con and delete the pre-existing Registry Entries. I am pretty sure this wasn't when I tested a week ago.

RedCrab the Calculator – update History

- Access to single cells in multidimensional fields.
- Dim(x) returns the number of dimensions of data fields.
- Cols(x) returns the number of columns of data fields.
- Rows(x) returns the number of rows of data fields.
- Input of binary- and octal numbers.
- Output of binary- and octal numbers in result boxes.

Bug-fixes:
- Runtime error by invalid input of: x=x[1..4]fixed.
- Flickering of function panel (right) by pressing of Ctrl + Enter fixed.
- Runtime error by invalid option in result boxes fixed.

Update History

- Windows 8 tested and user interface upgraded.
- Rectangle buttons with larger text fields improved the readability of function names on high resolution displays.
- Adjustable size of function panel and buttons improved the readability and handling on touch screens and tablet pc.
- The command line start option “/d“, reset the Windows Registry settings.
