Fotosizer - batch image reseizer

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

Fotosizer - batch image reseizer

#1 Post by guinness »

Fotosizer is a freeware batch image resizer tool. It resizes your photos in just 3 easy steps - 1. Photo selection, 2. select resize settings, then 3. Start the resize!

I used Universal Extractor to extract the NSIS installer and launched fotosizer.exe, it ran fine but created settings in the Registry (HKCU\Software\Fotosizer\)

Tested: Portable (Not Stealth)
I haven't added because its not stealth and I think it should be discussed if it should be added or not.

Haven't tested this program yet but just looking at the website, it looks like it has some other good features that some other programs currently on the site don't have:

1. Changes quality as well as size
2. Can intelligently decide if a file is going to be BIGGER than its original not to modify it.
3. A good dynamic file name output system
4. Rotation tools and apply basic effects (sepia / b&w / negative)
5. Optionally check folders for photos to modify recursively (include subfolders).

Not just another resizer.

Update here: still in active development with very low system requirements. Does appear to be liteware with pro users getting advanced batch edits, text and watermarks, color adjustments, and a few other bits.

Looks similar in some ways to ImBatch https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=2971
