Its fitting that it's the start of a new decade and the ever popular Nir Sofer would develop 10 new utilities! YES 10!

1. FlashCookiesView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1600

2. DiskCountersView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1653

3. DiskSmartView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1654

4. WinPrefetchView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1641

5. BulkFileChanger: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1760

6. AppCrashView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1669

7. SearchFilterView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1679

8. NTFSLinksView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1733

9. WakeMeOnLan: This utility will collect information about IP addresses and their associated MAC addresses on your LAN, and when you need it, it'll allow you to send Wake-on-LAN packet to the desired computers in order to turn on these computers.

10. OperaPassView: http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1690

Who said 3 was the magic number?! I for one can't wait for these to be uploaded in the next month or so. It's good (debatable!) to see that the 4 major browsers Chrome, Firefox, IE & Opera have the capability for Password retrieval.

No, they started with 1 not 0.

Since you felt the need to post merely to correct guiness, I feel I should refer you to the Wikipedia entry: "Although any period of ten years is a decade, the term usually refers to a period of ten calendar years whose digits are equal up to the tens digit, and whose last digit runs from 0 to 9."

Although Wikipedia is not necessarily correct, my understanding is the same as guiness.

Regarding the actual thread both DiskSmartView and WakeMeOnLan sound like useful utilities that may be worth a look into, although doubtless there are other applications available to do these functions I am a fan of NirSoft's past work.
