Gitlab.com or Github.com would probably be more suitable for that, nowadays...

hi
well there is the portable version it does include both!
but about the buffer size , is there a benchmark for 64bit version?
for some user 128mb is the best value , some use 8000 , other use 2gb
thanks

Hi
in the new version 4.0x there are some files like
FastEx64.dll
FastExt1.dll
FcHash.exe
fcp.exe
should delete all of them , included FcHash.exe and fcp.exe ??

could be added and updated it in the front page ?
Download and launch the installer
Select 'Extract only' (ether 'For x86' or 'For x64') during the process and extract to a folder of your choice
Delete everything except FastCopy.exe and FastCopy.chm (in the doc folder)
Launch FastCopy.exe
for example for V4 delete files .... too
thanks

As far as I can tell, the existing instruction is still valid.

Basically, the minimal set of files for FastCopy to work are:

- doc/FastCopy.chm
- FastCopy.exe

The other files are optional. FcHash.exe and fcp.exe are independent CLI tools. The DLLs are for supporting shell context menu items, which shouldn't be used under a portable setting.

Hi there, just wanted to report that the current version, and the previous two ones (despite what is advertized) work pretty well in XP, at least the portable components reported in https://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1437.

Cheers!

In that case, I have updated the database entry to reflect this observation. Thanks!
